Dry Needling
Release
Dry needling, although using similar needles as acupuncture is very different in terms of the rationale. Acupuncture is based on traditional chinese medicine and uses lines in the body called meridian lines and claims to assist with a wide range of health issues.
In terms of dry needling, it’s the use of fine needles (acupuncture needles), to release muscle tightness & help to reduce your pain. How? These super fine needles are expertly inserted into the muscles and myofascial trigger points, which help releasing areas that are tight or sore.
Dry needling can help with acute pain, chronic pain, tendon injuries such as tennis elbow and achilles tendinopathy.
